Swim Team Banquet

SWIM TEAM BANQUET: SATURDAY, JULY 29 @ 6PM
DON’T FORGET TO RSVP for the Swim Team Banquet on Saturday, July 29 @ 6PM at FMW. Guests will enjoy dinner followed by an awards ceremony and of course, swimming! Adults guests are $10, kids, $6. Please remember to search your purses, couches, junk drawers and change jars and bring your loose change to fill the Money Dive Jar.  The Money Dive will take place for the kids at the conclusion of the Awards banquet and we NEED donations to make it work.  The jar will be available in the Guard office all week to drop off your change and at the banquet on Sat.   

Tennis Program at FMW

We announced last week that FMW contracted with Blue Chip Sports Academy to host the club'stennis programming. Specifics about classes and clinics are being finalized, but available now is a July special offer for private lessons. Members may receive two one-hour lessons for $99.Please contact Jason Wnuk to sign up. 

Also, take note of the following events:

  • Tennis Social: Saturday, July 8, 7-10PM.All our welcome to attend whether a long-time tennis enthusiast or are just getting started. Guests should bring a can of balls and a bottle of wine. Informal (stress INFORMAL!) play will occur from 7 to 8:30PM, socializing afterwards.  
  • Tennis Open House: Sunday, July 9, 5-7PM. Club members can meet Jason Wnuk of Blue Chip to register for a variety of adult and kid tennis programs. This event coincides with our traditional Sunday Potluck Dinner so folks may enjoy meeting the Tennis Pros as well as dinner with fellow club members.

Membership Update

Membership invoices will be mailed March 5, 2016.  In addition to the annual membership dues, the first of two $50 assessments, voted on and approved at the board meeting on February 10th, will be included on the invoice.  The 2nd $50 assessment will be applied in next year's invoice.  The assessments will be used for general club improvements including the tennis courts.
